Guests are welcome to take advantage of two kayaks with life jackets, fishing poles, ladder golf, and corn hole boards. Inside you will find board games and DVDs for the movie room, a Nintendo NES Classic in the bunk room, and many Roku televisions to stream your favorite shows. Outside you can spend your evenings in a large hot tub or on the patio with a gas fireplace and TV. The kids can also feed catfish from the dock in the evenings (bread, catfish food, dog food, etc.). The family can enjoy s’mores around the campfire.

My daughter wanted a low-key 21st Birthday celebration with her best friends! Everything was wonderful! We floated in the lake, made s’mores around the fire pit , played games inside, & watched movies! The girls dressed up & took some incredible sunset photos!!! We cooked the entire time…never leaving the house except to go to the grocery store! I highly recommend! We made some incredible memories! 5 Stars from us!!!
Really beautiful, clean, and modern property with excellent lake views. Very spacious for a group of 8. Living room couches extremely comfortable for a nap! Check-in was a cinch and property management was very responsive before and during stay. No hesitation in recommending this property.
This Lake Bob Sandlin lakehouse was amazing! We had the great fortune of being the first to stay here. Everything was perfect. The rain kept us from enjoying the fire pit down by the lake but having two fireplaces up at the house made up for that! One inside and one outside. And the hot tub was very much appreciated. Of course the view was so beautiful and it was truly a peaceful setting! The house was immaculate and we had everything we could possibly need. The beds were so comfy and extra blankets were a plus. I cannot wait to stay here again!
The Pittsburg area has several local eateries you'll want to check out, including Racks, Daqz, and Axe, Papa Nachos, Pittsburg Hot Links, Herschel's Restaurant, Peralta's Mexican Food, and our favorite--Los Pinos Vineyard. Vaughn's Catfish is on the lake and you can even boat there! If you feel like venturing slightly further, Leesburg has Ma’s Café and Mt. Pleasant has some excellent eateries as well, such as Nardello’s and MAAK.
Beyond all the fun things we have to do on property (kayaking, movies, cornhole, ladder golf, campfires, board games, etc.), there is a wealth of ways to spend your days and nights in the local area year round. Excellent dining, axe throwing, live music, low key cafes, and all the festivities of a small Texas town!
Princedale is an older, semi-private traditional layout set in the typical East Texas terrain of tall pine trees. The 9-hole "Princedale" course at the Princedale Country Club facility in Pittsburg, Texas features 2,858 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The cabin is positioned just a half mile around the corner (or across the water) from Barefoot Bay Marina to launch your boat, fill up with gas, or grab basic supplies. They offer pontoon boat, paddle boat, paddle board & kayak rentals as well as fishing, sandbox for kids, swimming, nature trails, bird watching, trail biking, swings for kids, picnic pavilion, sand volleyball, bag-o game, washer game, horseshoes, and a whole lot more, such as live music, karaoke, and outdoor movies at night!
